A tape that keeps your lips closed while you sleep, so you breathe through your nose instead of your mouth. Around six in ten people mouth breathe at night without knowing it. The dry mouth in the morning is usually the first clue. Nose breathing keeps your mouth moist, keeps your breathing slower and quieter, and lets your body do its overnight work undisturbed. The tape is made of soft, skin-friendly material with a pull-off tab, so it comes off in one movement without pulling on your lips. The way we move air in and out of the body is more than a habit, it is a fundamental part of our physiology. During sleep the route of your breathing affects the quality of your rest, your autonomic nervous system, and the stability of your upper airway. Nasal breathing supports these processes, while chronic mouth breathing is more often associated with snoring, a dry mouth and lower sleep quality. Since we spend roughly a third of our lives asleep, the way we breathe at night can have a real effect on long-term health.
Tools like mouth tape and nasal strips can offer valuable support in some situations. A nasal strip can improve nasal airflow when there is mild mechanical narrowing, and mouth tape can help break a habit of open-mouth breathing. They are not a solution for an underlying condition. With clear congestion, snoring or suspected sleep apnea, it is important to also look at the cause and seek professional advice.
Ik gebruik de witte mouth tape samen met de neusstrips en merk echt verschil. Ik slaap rustiger en word met veel minder droge lippen wakker dankzij het collageen. Ook met mijn gezichtshaar laat de tape veel prettiger los dan andere merken. Voor mij echt de perfecte combinatie!
IK heb zowel de mondpleisters als de neusstrips 4 dagen geprobeerd, maar dit beviel mij niet. DE mondpleister plakte niet voldoende en lag elke ochtend naast mijn kussen ipv op mijn mond.

Ik zie dat het bij de mondtape om de witte variant gaat. Deze bevat collageen en daardoor kan het bij sommige mensen voorkomen dat de tape iets minder goed hecht. Om die reden raad ik meestal de zwarte mondtape aan. Veel klanten die van de witte naar de zwarte variant overstappen, ervaren dat deze beter blijft zitten.
Helaas is de zwarte mondtape momenteel uitverkocht, maar zodra deze weer op voorraad is, zal ik ervoor zorgen dat je deze ontvangt zodat je het verschil zelf kunt ervaren.
Daarnaast gaf je aan dat je liever de bredere zwarte neusstrips gebruikt. Zou je mij kunnen laten weten welke neusstrip je precies bedoelt? Dan zorg ik ervoor dat ik de juiste neusstrips naar je opstuur.

Het was even wennen zonder gaatje maar het slaap heerlijk. Plakt goed en verwijdert ook zonder problemen.
