Unpack the ice bath from its carrying bag, unfold it completely, and lay it flat on a level surface.

That is the most common complaint about cheap ice baths. Thin, single-wall tubs warm up within an hour, so you keep having to add ice. A lot of compact ice baths are simply too small, so your knees or shoulders stay above the water. The Round Basic is roomy and fits users up to 2.05 m and 150 kg, so you can fully submerge and get the most out of cold therapy.
No. You can start right away with cold tap water plus ice or the included Ice Bricks. Want a more constant temperature later without topping up ice? You can connect a chiller at any time thanks to the built-in chiller connection.
We recommend 4 to 10ยฐC. Start with cold tap water and add ice or the included Ice Bricks until you reach that range. Use the included thermometer to check before each session. How long it takes depends on your starting water and the room temperature, so let the thermometer guide you rather than the clock.
Honest answer: the ice bath is the tool, but the habit makes the difference. Regular cold exposure is linked to more dopamine and norepinephrine, faster recovery and sharper focus. Many people feel more energised and clear-headed after the very first session. The biggest gains come from making it a routine. Two to three minutes per session is often enough.
About five minutes. Unfold it, slide in the support poles, inflate the top rim and fill it. No installation, no power and no fixed spot needed. When you are done, empty it through the built-in drain valve and store it away.
